  2. How do I register?
    Go to Click on Login/Register. Follow the steps and complete required fields. A validation email will be sent from the VFIS Authentication System Once you validate your email, you will be able to access the system. Prior to taking courses, you must affiliate with your organization and then validated by your training officer of your department. To request affiliation with your department, select "Affiliation" on the left side menu and follow the steps. If you do not see your organization listed, contact your training officer of your organization. Have them follow step 4 below.

    Yes, user guides and other resources are available on the help page.
  4. How do I become a Training Officer in VFISu for my organization?
    On company letterhead, submit a written request signed by the chief officer and email to with your full name, email address, department name, county, and state in which your department is located. VFIS will validate the information and setup your organization as an organization in VFISu.
  5. How do I register my entire department?
    Download this spreadsheet. Fill out columns A-D, F and G (one line/row for each member you want to register). Email the completed spreadsheet to with the name of your organization, state, your name and phone number. We will contact you to go over the process in more detail.
  6. I never received my validation email. What do I do?
    The validation email will be from "VFIS Authentication System" ( Check your junk/spam folder first and if you still do not receive it, email or call us at (800) 233-1957 x7228
  7. I can't remember my password?
    You will need to do a Password Reset. Got to and click the "Login/Register" button. Then click the "Forgot Password" link. Enter your email and follow the validation process.
  8. I need to change my email address in my account. How do I do that?

  9. I tried to log back in from my validation email but I keep getting an error message. What do I do?
    The validation link from the VFIS Authentication System is only good for a one-time use. If you have registered, please use the Log In / Register button to access the system or reset your password. If you are still unable to access the system, please email Include your name, verify which email is in question and your department name. VFIS will send another validation email.
  10. Can non-clients register?
    Non-clients are not able to register at this time.
